Terms of Use

The website www.zebratan.com is managed by the company Zebratan registered with the Fréjus Trade and Companies Register under number 490667292, called “Zebratan”

These general conditions of sale are concluded between Zebratan and any natural person "the buyer" wishing to purchase products on the Website

These Conditions are implemented upon validation of the order.

1. Purpose

The General Terms and Conditions are intended to define the terms of sale between Zebratan and the buyer, from the placing of the order to payment and delivery to the address indicated by the buyer. Placing an order on the website: www.zebratan.com implies unreserved acceptance of the provisions of these conditions.
On the other hand, the buyer declares to be at least 18 years old and to have the legal capacity or to hold parental authorization allowing him to place an order on the site.

2. Products

The products featured on the site are sold and shipped by Zebratan, while stocks last. The products are described as accurately as possible; Zebratan takes the greatest care in describing and presenting its product sheets. However, the colors shown in the images cannot be guaranteed due to the different image resolution performance of the computer tools used.

The photos and texts illustrating the product sheets are only indicative and not contractual.

3. Prices

Item prices are listed in Euros, all taxes included. Discounts may apply to these prices, which apply on the day of the order, rather than shipping costs, which remain fixed at the postal rate, via Colissimo. The buyer will be informed of the shipping costs when confirming their shopping cart before finalizing their order. They can also consult the rates in advance.

If taxes were to vary, the price would be reflected on the product(s) concerned, however this price would not be modified after validation of the order.

4. Orders

To place an order, the buyer must create a customer account with a valid email address, and a password will be automatically generated. The customer can then change it in their personal interface. If they forget their password, they can request to receive a new password by email (the same email they registered with), which Zebratan will not be aware of.

5. Validation of the order

Once the buyer has validated their shopping cart, they must read and accept these general terms and conditions without reservation. They will then choose their delivery method and payment method. Payment methods are automatically proposed when placing the order. This step implements the contract between Zebratan and the buyer.

Zebratan is notified of the order by email as soon as it is validated after payment. In the event that the buyer has omitted information concerning his postal address necessary for the sending of his package, Zebratan reserves the right to block the order until obtaining the missing information. The buyer will be notified by email of the reason for the hold and will have to provide the missing information. In the event that the customer wishes to cancel one or more products already shipped, he must wait for the receipt of the package and return the intact and unused products. He will be reimbursed for the amount of the products concerned only, the rest of the order remaining firm and final. Shipping costs will not be reimbursed, neither those for returning nor the costs initially paid.

6. Payment

The buyer can pay for his purchases:

- By credit card:

Carte Bleue, e-carte bleue, Visa, Mastercard, American Express card.
This service is governed by the company Payplug, which reserves the right to accept or refuse payment based on several filters: name of the cardholder, country of issue of the payment, available funds.

- By PAYPAL

The buyer can pay for their purchases by logging into their PayPal account and will be redirected to it automatically when placing the order.

Zebratan reserves the right to suspend any order that has not been paid in full. Any refusal of payment by Payplug or Paypal will not be considered and the customer will have to place a new order. The customer will be notified by email of the acceptance or refusal of payment.

7. Delivery

Ordered items are shipped to the address provided by the customer when placing the order. The customer can enter a delivery address and a billing address. Deliveries are announced by email, and the customer will be provided with their tracking number to check the progress of their order on the Colissimo website.

The average delivery time is 24 to 72 hours and 6-29 days for international or overseas deliveries. Packages are the buyer's responsibility as soon as they leave Zebratan's premises. It is the buyer's responsibility to check the contents of their package in the presence of the delivery person, or the person who received the package (relay point, depot, etc.). The buyer must refuse the package in the event of a damaged, incomplete or incorrect order. If the buyer does not refuse upon delivery, the package will be definitively accepted by the latter and no claim can be made. In the event of damage to the package, a reasoned protest must be made to the carrier within 14 days of receipt of the package. No refund will be made in the event of delivery to a relay point. Zebratan cannot be held responsible for damage incurred during transport . Zebratan strives to prepare packages with the greatest care and to protect them as much as possible. No claim will be made by Zebratan if the package has been accepted and signed by the buyer, or if the status appears as "delivered" online. If the buyer is not at home upon delivery, the driver reserves the right to drop off the package at a relay point available to the customer. The buyer will be notified by text message or email. The buyer will not be able to claim a commercial gesture in the event of delivery to a relay point. If the order could not be delivered due to absence or an incomplete address, it is the buyer's responsibility to contact the Colissimo carrier.

Zebratan cannot be held responsible for strikes or delays on the part of the carrier. It is the customer's responsibility to contact the carrier to determine the location of their package. No refunds will be issued in the event of a delivery delay.

Note for orders outside Europe and overseas: Buyers residing overseas may incur customs fees when the package arrives in the territory. Customs fees are the sole responsibility of the buyer and the buyer is therefore responsible for paying any customs fees.

8.Availability

If the ordered product is not in stock, the buyer will be notified by email. The buyer can choose to wait for the product to be restocked or cancel their order and receive a refund. They can also choose an equivalent product at the same price and agree to pay additional shipping if the product in question changes the shipping cost.

9. Right of withdrawal and exchange

The buyer has, according to article L 121-20 of the French code, a period of fourteen clear days, from receipt of the products to exercise his right of withdrawal. As stipulated in article L. 121-21-8 of the consumer code: All goods that have been unsealed by the consumer after delivery and which cannot be returned for reasons of hygiene and health protection are excluded from the right of withdrawal . The customer will be reimbursed within 14 days following receipt of the goods at our premises.

Zebratan reserves the right to refuse a refund or exchange if the customer does not comply with the return conditions. The merchandise must be returned in its entirety and in its original packaging, accompanied by the purchase invoice. Return costs in the event of withdrawal by the buyer are at their expense.

11. Warranty

All products are covered by a warranty against hidden defects (Article L211-1 of the Consumer Code and Article 1641 et seq. of the Civil Code). The buyer may return defective products at their own expense.
